Poppyseed Bread

From the kitchen of Donnie Johnston



3 cups all purpose flour
2 1/4 cups of sugar
3 eggs
1 1/8 cup of oil
1 1/2 cups of milk
1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon butter extract
1 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 tablespoon poppy seeds
Icing:
3/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon butter
1/2 teaspoon almond extract


Mix all liquid ingredients together (in order given). Then mix dry ingredients. Pour into 5 small greased loaf pans or 3 large greased loaf pans and bake for 45 minutes at 350 F degrees. As soon as the bread comes out of the oven pour icing mixture over it.
