Miniature Pecan Pies

Makes 1 dozen

1 8oz package cream cheese (softened)
1 cup butter (softened)
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
3 eggs - FILLING
1/4 cup butter (melted) - FILLING
1 cup sugar - FILLING
1 cup dark syrup - FILLING
1 tablespoon flour - FILLING
1 cup chopped pecans - FILLING


CRUST.....In large bowl, mix together cream cheese, 1 cup butter, 1 teaspoon salt and 2 cups flour - blend well. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Remove and roll into 12 equal size balls - place and press into muffin pan. FILLING.....In large bowl, mix together eggs, 1/4 cup butter, sugar, dark syrup, 1 tablespoon flour and pecans - mix well. Spoon mixture into muffin pan - Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
