Mrs. Claus' Christmas & Holiday Cookies - Recipe for Pizzelles

Pizzelles

Ingredients

6 eggs
2 teaspoons anise oil (small bottle)
3 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup whiskey (for crispness)

Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredients. Make a well and add eggs and wet ingredients. Mix until smooth.

  2. Drop by tablespoons onto pizzelle iron.

  3. Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
