Creamy Chocolate Layered Cake

Makes 8 servings

Ingredients

4 ounces Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon milk or half and half
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tub (12 ounce) Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed
1 Keebler Ready Crust chocolate pie crust (6 ounces)
1 1/2 cups cold milk or half and half
2 packages Jell-O chocolate flavor instant pudding & pie filling

Directions

  1. Mix cream cheese, 1 Tablespoon of milk and sugar in a large bowl with wire whisk until smooth.

  2. Gently stir in 1 1/2 cups of the whipped topping.

  3. Spread mixture on bottom of crust.

  4. Pour 1 1/2 cups milk into bowl. Add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk for 1 minute.

  5. Stir in 2 cups of whipped topping.

  6. Spread over cream cheese layer.

  7. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set.

  8. Garnish with remaining whipped topping.

  9. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.
