Mrs. Claus' Christmas & Holiday Cookies - Recipe for Brown Edged Wafers

Brown Edged Wafers

Ingredients

1 pound (2 cups or 4 sticks) butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups flour

Directions

  1. Preheat 350 degrees F.

  2. Cream softened butter and sugar.

  3. Add eggs & vanilla, mix until smooth.

  4. Add flour slowly, mix till smooth.

  5. Using a tsp. place small drops of dough on pan.

  6. Flatten with a flat bottom glass dipped into milk.

  7. Decorate cookies as desired.

  8. Bake for 10 minutes, or until edges of cookies are brown, remove from pan immediately.
