Georgia Nuggets
From the kitchen of Patricia Johnson
Ingredients
3 cups light brown sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
2 cups chopped pecans
1 tablespoon butter
Directions
Stir sugar and milk together in a medium saucepan, until sugar is dissolved.
Bring to a rolling boil and cook until it reaches 232 degrees.
Remove from heat add vanilla flavoring and stir.
Add butter and chopped pecans.
Beat until creamy.
Drop by the spoonful onto wax paper.
Let cool and store into air tight container.
