The Secret Neiman Marcus Cookie Recipe

Makes 112 cookies • From the kitchen of Laura

Ingredients

2 cups butter
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups flour
5 cups oatmeal, blended to a fine powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoon baking soda
24 ounces chocolate chips
1 (8 ounce) Hershey Bar, grated
3 cups chopped nuts

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2. Measure oatmeal into jar of blender, and grind until it is a fine powder.

3. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and both sugars.

4. Add eggs and vanilla, mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda.

5. Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar, and nuts.

6. Roll into balls, and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.

7. Bake for 10 minutes.
