Kid friendly, Quick & easy

2 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

confectioner's sugar for sprinkling on top
In a medium bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon.
Crumble the cornflakes into the egg mixture. Stir well.
Soak bread slices in egg mixture for 20 seconds on each slide, or until thoroughly coated.
Set aside on a plate. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.
Place the bread slices in the pan; brown on both sides.
Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar, serve hot.
Definitely needs work. Much too sweet. Dunno how to make it a quick one. Tried making it before going to work. It took nearly half and hour and I was stuck. Breakfast or work?
