Buttermilk Pie
Makes 6-8 servings
Ingredients
1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry pie shell
1 1/4 cups white sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups buttermilk
3 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup butter or margarine
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) .
Mix sugar and flour.
Add buttermilk, beaten eggs, vanilla.
Melt the butter over low heat.
Add to buttermilk mixture and mix well.
Pour into pie shell and bake for 35-40 minutes.
