Heavenly Hash Pie
Makes 4 to 6 servings • From the kitchen of Halie
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups finely crushed gingersnaps
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/2 of 1/2 gallon SEALTEST Heavenly Hash Ice Cream, softened
3 Tablespoons Whipped Cream (Optional)
Directions
Measure crumbs into medium-sized mixing bowl. Toss with sugar and melted butter until well mixed. With back of spoon, press mixture to bottom and sides of 8 inch pie plate, leaving small rim. Place in moderate oven (375 degree) for 8 min. Remove to wire rack to cool completely. Spread softened Heavenly Hash Ice Cream evenly into prepared crust. Freeze until firm. At serving time, garnish with whipped cream if desired.
