{"id":8598,"date":"2015-12-12T10:00:26","date_gmt":"2015-12-12T15:00:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.northpole.com\/blog\/?p=8598"},"modified":"2015-12-09T23:33:30","modified_gmt":"2015-12-10T04:33:30","slug":"raymond-visits-a-farm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.northpole.com\/blog\/raymond-visits-a-farm\/","title":{"rendered":"Raymond Visits a Farm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Generally speaking, I don?t travel quite as often as Raymond and Becky do, but that?s because when Raymond&#8217;s home at the North Pole, he and I spend a great deal of time thinking of fun shenanigans like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.northpole.com\/blog\/free-wallpaper-backyard-bubbles\/\">blowing bubbles<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.northpole.com\/blog\/raymonds-photo-shoot\/\">trying on outfits and posing in front of a camera<\/a>, or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.northpole.com\/blog\/raymond-bakes-healthy-cookies\/\">baking cookies<\/a>. \ud83d\ude09 This year, however, I had the opportunity to visit some relatives in rural Virginia, so Raymond accompanied me there.<\/p>\n<p>In this part of Virginia, there are a handful of farms that grow fresh fruits and veggies, as well as raise animals. We stopped at one dairy farm to get ice cream, and then we walked the grounds to visit all the animals.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.northpole.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3180.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" \/>\n<h6>First we saw a pig taking a break from the shade to soak up some sunshine.<\/h6>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.northpole.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3207.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" \/>\n<h6>Look what Raymond saw when we entered the stables?silly goat!<\/h6>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.northpole.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3220a.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"337\" \/>\n<h6>What are these chickens doing under a tractor?!<\/h6>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.northpole.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3245a.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" \/>\n<h6>The cow didn?t want to look at Raymond.
