Good Deeds Calendar

The Good Deeds Calendar is an incentive for children to be on good behavior! You can print out the calendar by the month and children can post it and check off their accomplishments. Did they brush their teeth? Clean their room? Pick up their toys? Save each calendar, and on Christmas Eve have children set them out for Santa to see how good they’ve been! Visit the Elf Pal Academy and print a calendar now.

Letter to Santa

Wouldn’t a letter from Santa delight your child? Children can send a letter and their “wish-list” to Santa Claus and receive a personalized reply letter back! Children are led through the process by an elf who teaches them how to create a password. A response from Santa will be posted in Santa’s Mailroom for children to pick up two days later using their password. The Web-mail reply is a full-page letter addressed to the child and signed by Santa. Print out, and the child has a memento-quality letter to keep. Click here to write a letter to Santa.

Birthday Card from Santa

Your child can receive a birthday card from Santa! Sign up your child, then be sure to watch for an email from Santa on his or her birthday. The email will contain a link that your child can click to view their special birthday postcard.

Educational Activities

Elf Pal Academy offers educational activities (for children from Pre-K to 3rd grade) that can easily be incorporated into home-learning lesson plans. These activities combine learning opportunities with fun activities and colorful holiday designs to keep the child’s attention. Learning was never so much fun!

Want to award your child a certificate for learning? An Elf Pal Academy diploma (signed by Santa and including the official Santa emblem) can be personalized for each child and customized to the subject matter in which they excelled.

For details, please see our Teacher Overview page.

Recipes Galore!

Looking for that special treat for the upcoming holidays? Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen has hundreds of yummy recipes in her cookbook. You can view and print recipes for breads, cakes, cookies, candy, pies and other treats. Have a favorite recipe you want to share? You or your child can send it to Mrs. Claus and she and the elves will review it for inclusion—with attribution—in her cookbook.

Stories

More than two dozen original, creative stories are found throughout Santa’s Secret Village. Many stories convey a theme or cheerfully teach a lesson—while entertaining and improving reading skills. All are richly illustrated with original, hand-drawn and painted artwork.

Stories to Read and Color – All 12 stories in Santa’s Workshop are fully illustrated like all northpole.com stories, but these also have black and white versions of the illustrations that can be printed out for children to color.

These stories include:

Hidden Stories – Children will enjoy finding the 10 ‘hidden’ stories from easy clues or by sliding the mouse over the screen.

Hidden Stories in the Reindeer Barn

Hidden Stories in Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen

Hidden Stories in Santa’s Workshop

Hidden Stories in Santa’s Den

Personalized Stories – Children can personalize 3 different stories—each with themselves as the star! To create a personalized story, children just answer a few short questions and with the click of a mouse they have a story about themselves to read, print, and keep. These stories are in Santa’s Den:

Elves’ Game Chest

Play Memory Squares and Swap Puzzles, or rock away with Dancing Santa! The Game Chest is in the Elf Clubhouse. While you’re there, have kids click the mouse on the airplane, the sleeping cat, the jack-in-the-box, and the door—cute animation!

ElfChat℠

This unusual feature uses “artificial intelligence” to enable children to chat with elves Bif and Bonnie. Just type a question about Christmas, Santa, the North Pole, or elves. ElfChat℠ reads the question and creates an answer. This innovative technology is a field of study in computer science involving conversation simulators.

Note: These are robotic answers, so questions must be very simple to produce a logical response. Please be aware that inappropriate questions can trigger inappropriate responses.
