Mrs. Claus' Christmas & Holiday Breads - Recipe for Cinnamon Strips

Cinnamon Strips

Makes 1 serving • From the kitchen of Greg Johnson

Ingredients

1 piece of toast
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon sugar
1 plastic sealable sandwich bag

Directions

  1. Toast the bread. Butter both sides of the toast and cut into thin strips.

  2. Pour the sugar-cinnamon mixture into the plastic bag. Seal tightly and shake to mix well.

  3. Drop one strip of buttered toast into the bag and shake until the strip is coated.

  4. Repeat until all of the strips are coated. Add more sugar-cinnamon mix if you need it.
