Swedish Apple Pie

Ingredients

1 cup and 1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 cup flour
1 egg
pinch of salt
3/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Slightly grease pie plate. Fill 2/3 sliced apples. Combine 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples and set aside. In a bowl, combine 1 cup flour, 1/2 to 1 cup sugar, 1 egg, pinch of salt, 3/4 cup melted butter and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Mix well and pour over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
