Ingredients

3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg, beaten
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon ginger

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Cream oil and sugar; add molasses and egg.

  3. Mix dry ingredients together and add. Mix well.

  4. Form into walnut sized balls and roll in sugar.

  5. Bake on greased cookie sheet for about 15 minutes or until done.


You can add raisins to these for an interesting change.
