Ingredients
3 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup peanut butter
4 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
1 tablespoon vanilla
Directions
Place a piece of wax paper or foil on a cookie sheet or counter top.
Combine sugar, butter, milk and cocoa in a medium saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a rolling boil.
Remove from heat cool 1 minute
Add peanut butter, stir to blend. Add oats and vanilla, stir to mix well.
Quickly drop mixture by heaping teaspoons onto wax paper or foil.
Cool completely. Store in cool, dry, place.
