Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg, beaten
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup miniature marshmallows
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease cookie sheets.
Cream shortening, sugars, peanut butter, and beaten egg.
Combine dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture.
Fold in marshmallows.
Form into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
Place balls on prepared pans.
Bake for 8-10 minutes.

Marshmallows ruined the recipe. They made a mess of the pan & ended up with burnt edges from the marshmallows that spilled out of the cookies. That never happened to me before any time I've ever made ccokies. This was the first time I ever made a bad batch. I don't plan on ever making these again
