Peppy Pecan Tarts

3 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup plain flour
2 tablespoons margarine
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cups light brown sugar
Cream together cream cheese, margarine and plain flour.
Form 24 balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Combine light brown sugar, margarine, egg, vanilla and chopped pecans.
Press dough into tart pans and fill 1/2 full with filling.
Bake 20 minutes.
