Ingredients

2 pounds Italian sausage (remove from casing)
2 to 3 thawed frozen bread dough
garlic powder, salt, pepper, olive oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Brown sausage, drain and set aside to cool.

  3. Take thawed bread dough and cut off approximately a 3 inch chunk.

  4. Stretch dough flat, add a small amount of olive oil in the middle and spread almost to edges.

  5. Sprinkle on the garlic powder, salt and pepper.

  6. Put a small handful of Italian sausage on the middle of the dough and roll the dough jellyroll style, making sure you tuck in the ends to close.

  7. Pinch the seams shut. Repeat to use all dough and sausage.

  8. Bake seam side down till top is golden brown. (usually 20-30 minutes).

  9. Serve while still warm.
