Ingredients

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
2 (20 ounce) packages, prepared chocolate chip cookie dough, one should be frozen for 1/2 hour before use
sprinkle confectioner's sugar (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Press one package of cookie dough onto the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch backing pan.

  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and eggs until smooth.

  4. Pour the cheese mixture over the cookie dough.

  5. Slice the 2nd cookie dough package into 1/4 inch rounds.  Flatten with your hands.  Place on top of the filling, covering as much as you can (you don't have to cover the entire surface).

  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.

  7. Let cool completely, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.

  8. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before cutting.

these were good. hard to get out of the pan so that they still looked decent.
