7 dozen small cookies

Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine, softened
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2/3 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

  2. Grease baking sheet pans.

  3. Let margarine soften in mixing bowl. Add vanilla, brown sugar and egg; beat until smooth.

  4. Sift flour with cream of tartar; add to first mixture with nuts; mix well.

  5. Measure out level teaspoon of dough onto baking sheets.

  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

Recipe says it yields 7 dozen small cookies...I made small cookies and it yielded 2 dozen. Please correct.
