1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add egg and vanilla.
3. Add remaining ingredients.
4. Mix well.
Chill for 1 hour.
Roll out and cut your favorite shapes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Add icing (optional).
