Eggnog
Makes About 5 cups • From the kitchen of Ashley & Morgan
Ingredients
4 eggs, separated
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups cold milk
1 cup light cream
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions
Beat egg yolks together with 1/4 cup of sugar until thick mix in milk, cream, vanilla, salt and nutmeg.
Beat until frothy.
Beat egg whites with remaining sugar until mixture forms soft peaks then fold in egg mixture.
Sprinkle with nutmeg
