Psencik Peach Farm Cobbler

Makes 4-8 servings • From the kitchen of Allison

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup margarine
3 cups fresh peaches or blackberries
1 cup flour
dash salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Put 1 cup sugar over cut up peaches (or blackberries) and set aside.

  3. Melt margarine in 9x11 baking pan.

  4. Mix 1 cup sugar and dry ingredients, add milk, mix.

  5. Pour over melted margarine, put peaches on top of batter; do not stir.

  6. Bake for 1 hour.
