Gooey Chocolate Brownies
Makes 24 servings • From the kitchen of Charlotte Evans
Ingredients
180g butter, melted
165g caster sugar
150g soft brown sugar
3 eggs
75g plain flour
50g self-rising flour
40g cocoa powder
2 teaspoons icing sugar (optional)
Directions
Grease 19cm x 29cm slice pan; line with baking paper or butter.
Whisk butter and sugars in large bowl until combined.
Whisk in eggs 1 at a time, whisking well after each.
Whisk in sifted flours and cocoa and pour into prepared tray.
Bake in moderate oven for 15 minutes.
Cover with foil and cook for a further 45 minutes.
Cut into small rectangles and leave to cool for 8 minutes.
Sprinkle with icing sugar (optional)
