Gooey Chocolate Brownies

Makes makes 24 •  From the kitchen of charlotte evans

Ingredients

180g butter, melted
165g caster sugar
150g soft brown sugar
3 eggs
75g plain flour
50g self- raising flour
40g cocoa powder
2 teaspoons icing sugar (optional)

Directions

grease 19cm x 29cm slice pan;line with baking paper or butter. whisk butter and sugars in large bowl until combined. whisk in eggs 1 at a time, whisking well after each. Whisk in sifted flours and cocoa and pour into prepared tray. bake in moderate oven for 15 mins. cover with foil and cook for a further 45 mins. cut into small rectangles and leave to cool for 8 mins. sprinkle with icig sugar(OPTIONAL)
