2 cups self-rising flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 tablespoon allspice
3/4 cup Wesson oil
1 cup milk
1 cup cooked, pitted prunes
1 cup chopped nuts

1 tablespoon of Karo syrup
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon of vanilla flavoring


  1. For pudding: mix all ingredients and cook on 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

  2. For icing: cook over medium heat or until boils for about one minute. Pour over cakes.
