Ingredients

1 medium sweet onion
2 cloves garlic
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
3 cans mixed vegetables, drained
1 small can tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon ground chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 to 5 cups water (fill skillet until half-full)
1 package flour or corn tortillas

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, brown meat with garlic and onions.

  2. Drain meat and return to skillet.

  3. Add in vegetables, tomato sauce, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt and water.

  4. Bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

  5. Serve with tortillas.
