Mrs. Claus' Christmas & Holiday Cookies - Recipe for Shortbread

Shortbread

Ingredients

1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup corn flour
3/4 cup castor sugar
125 grams butter or margarine
icing sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.

  2. Sift flours and add castor sugar. Melt butter and pour over dry ingredients. Mix until combined.

  3. Roll into balls and flatten with fork.

  4. Bake for 15 minutes.

  5. Sprinkle with icing sugar for decoration.
