Mrs. Claus' Christmas & Holiday Desserts - Recipe for Cranberry Pistachio Sauce

Cranberry Pistachio Sauce

Ingredients

1 pound fresh cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 jar (10 ounce) red currant jelly
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup chopped pistachio nuts

Directions

  1. Mix cranberries, sugar, jelly, and orange juice in 2 quart saucepan.

  2. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.

  3. Skim off any foam that collects on surface.

  4. Remove from heat, stir in nuts.
