Ingredients

2/3 cup Crisco (shortening)
1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup Hershey's cocoa or Dutch cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup white chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Beat Crisco, brown sugar, water, and vanilla in large bowl on medium speed until well blended.

  3. Add eggs; beat well.

  4. Stir together (in a separate bowl) flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda.

  5. Gradually add to sugar mixture, beating on low speed just until blended.

  6. Stir in chocolate chips, and white chocolate chips.

  7. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

  8. Bake 7-9 minutes or until set.

  9. Cookies will appear soft, do not over bake.
