Merry Santa Claus Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

Makes 24 servings • From the kitchen of CinKay Lamar De Forest

Ingredients

white cake mix, plus ingredients for mix
2 packages flat-bottomed ice cream cones (24)
1 container (16 ounce) vanilla or chocolate frosting
red and green M&M's
red sugar
mini marshmallows

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Prepare cake mix according to package directions.

  3. Spoon 1/4 cup batter into each ice cream cone.

  4. Stand cones in muffin pans.

  5. Bake about 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

  6. Cool, then frost each cone and decorate.


Santa Hat:

  1. Red sugar, green M&M's for eyes. Red M&M's for nose., marshmallows for beard, hat brim and hat tassel.
