12 ounce package butterscotch chips
12 ounce package of chocolate chips
1 cup pecans
6 ounce Chinese noodles
Melt butterscotch and chocolate chips on cook top, add remaining ingredients.
Stir well and place by the teaspoon full on wax paper.
This is similar to several other "haystack" variations (including pterodactyl nests), both here and elsewhere, all based on coated chowmein noodles. There are unlimited possibilities to the shaping and naming of this combination. Try inverting and oiling a small muffin tin and placing the balls on that for a more "nest'y" appearance. All manner of malted milk balls or jellybeans could form the eggs, and thin strands of licorice or string cheese could offer color and texture variants!
