Chocolate Snowdrop
Makes 2 dozen • From the kitchen of Nidheya Suresh
Ingredients
125 grams butter, softened
3 tablespoons icing sugar, sifted
2/3 cup plain flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1 cup almonds, finely chopped
1 tin extra sifted icing sugar to coat cookie
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 150 degree Celsius.
Cream butter & icing sugar until light & fluffy.
Add sifted flour & cocoa & mix well. Fold in almonds.
Chill until firm enough to handle.
Roll a teaspoon full of dough at time into marble sized balls, arrange on tray.
Bake for 20 minutes or until firm.
Roll in icing sugar while still warm.
