2 tablespoons butter
1 heaping tablespoon flour
1/2 to 3/4 cup milk
6 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon mustard
tiny bit Worcestershire sauce
a squirt of lemon juice
a little parsley
1 pound crab meat
cracker crumbs


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Butter 8x8 baking dish.

  3. Melt 2 Tablespoons butter over low heat. Take off heat.

  4. Add 1 heaping tablespoon of flour and blend together.

  5. Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup of milk, put on low heat, stirring constantly until thickened.

  6. Remove from heat and add 6 tablespoons mayonnaise and 1 teaspoon mustard and a tiny bit of Worcestershire, a squirt of lemon juice, and a little parsley.

  7. Fold in crab meat.

  8. Put in buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with cracker crumbs and dot with butter.

  9. Bake for 20 minutes.
