Ingredients

6 quarts popped corn
2 cups brown sugar
2 sticks margarine
1/2 cup Karo white syrup
1 teaspoon butter flavoring
1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

  2. Coat a large roasting pan with non-stick spray.

  3. Put popped corn in pan, removing any unpopped kernels.

  4. Mix together sugar, margarine, Karo, and salt in a pan and boil for 5 minutes

  5. Remove from stove.

  6. Add soda and butter flavoring.

  7. Pour over pop corn, stir to coat.

  8. Place in oven for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

I have been making this recipe for years from this site! I use microwave popcorn, making sure to pick out the un-popped kernels. This is my go-to recipe for sure, I love it! It's easy, tasty and makes great holiday gifts...if it lasts that long:)
