Bake Time:
20 minutes
2 dozen large cookies
Good for parties/potlucks, Kid friendly, Travels well


4 cups flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon ginger
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup molasses


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Grease cookie sheet.

  3. Combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl.

  4. Shape heaping tablespoons of dough into flattened ovals about 3 inches long.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes.

  6. Cool on a wire rack.
