Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 pound marshmallows
9 quarts popped popcorn
food coloring (optional)
nuts (optional)
M&M's (optional)
peppermint or cinnamon oil (optional)
Edible sprinkles (optional)

Directions

  1. Place popped popcorn in very large bowl or kettle.

  2. Melt butter and add marshmallows, stir until marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat. May add food coloring, nuts, or a couple of drops of flavored oil.

  3. To make a cake, pack into a very lightly oiled or sprayed bundt pan or rounded bowl. Turn out onto plate. Decorate with M&M's, nuts or sprinkles.

  4. To make popcorn balls, shape into balls and allow to cool on waxed paper. Then wrap in a sandwich bag or colored plastic wrap.
