30 minutes

2 cups (1 pound) butter
1 cup brown sugar
4 cups flour


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

  2. Grease and flour baking pan.

  3. Cream butter and sugar. Gradually add flour. Mix well.

  4. May be rolled and cut or baked in a pan.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes, until slightly golden brown.

This is such an easy recipe to make and so good! I tried to change it a little and used regular sugar instead of the brown sugar in the second batch I made and they tasted equally good. We enjoy it both ways!!!!!

Great, easy to make cookies. One warning -cookies do not take 30 minutes to bake. I found about 15 minutes worked perfectly.
