Scottish Shortbread

Ingredients

2 cups (1 pound) butter
1 cup brown sugar
4 cups flour

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

  2. Grease and flour baking pan.

  3. Cream butter and sugar. Gradually add flour. Mix well.

  4. May be rolled and cut or baked in a pan.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes, until slightly golden brown.
