Brooke's Puddin' Pie
Makes 6-8 servings • From the kitchen of Brooke
Ingredients
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/6 cup white sugar
1 package honey graham crackers (wrapped in plastic, not whole box)
1 box Jell-O chocolate pudding
1 pre-made pie crust
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Take graham crackers and put them into a bag. Take mallet or heavy item and crush grahams in bag.
Set grahams aside.
In a large bowl: take pudding box and follow directions on back of box. Set pudding aside.
In a large skillet add 4 tablespoons of butter to melt. Once butter is melted, add 1/6 cup of sugar.
Mix sugar and butter till golden color appears. Turn skillet off.
Add graham crackers to the skillet mix and mix till coated.
Pour graham cracker mixture into bottom of pie crust.
Bake in oven for 15 minutes. If the grahams are squishy, bake for 5-10 more minutes as needed. Once grahams are hard in the bottom of the pan, let cool.
Once cooled, add pudding on top of graham crackers.
Refrigerate or serve immediately.
