Special K Bars

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
6 cups Special K cereal
2/3 cup chocolate chips
2/3 cup butterscotch chips

Directions

1. Place cereal in large bowl, set aside.

2. In heavy sauce pan, combine sugar and corn syrup, heat until almost liquid.

3. Remove form heat and stir in peanut butter.

4. Pour over cereal, mix gently to combine.

5. Press into 13x9 cake pan.

Topping:

1. Melt together chips in sauce pan, stir and heat until smooth.

2. Remove from heat spread over Special K in pan.

3. Let sit in refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
