Recipe Details

Bake Time:
45-60 minutes

Ingredients

3 cups flour
2 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 tablespoons poppy seeds
1 1/2 teaspoons almond flavoring
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoons butter flavoring
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/8 cups oil

Glaze:
1/4 teaspoon butter flavoring
1/4 teaspoon almond flavoring
1/4 cup orange juice
3/4 to 1 cup sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Lightly grease 1 large or 5 small loaf pans.


For Bread:

  1. Mix all ingredients with mixer for 2 minutes only.

  2. Pour into loaf pans.

  3. Bake for 45-60 minutes depending on which pans are used.


For Glaze:

  1. Mix and pour over warm loaves.

  2. Cool remove from pan. Freezes well.
