Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter
1 can evaporated milk
4 cups sugar
12 ounces chocolate chips
2 (8 ounce) Hershey candy bars
1 cup chopped walnuts
15 ounce jar marshmallow cream
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan combine butter, milk and sugar.

  2. Cook on medium heat stirring constantly.

  3. Bring to a rolling boil that can't be stirred down. Boil for 4 minutes.

  4. Take off the heat and add the remaining ingredients.

  5. Pour onto a buttered cookie sheet.

This recipe has a really great flavor, but mine didn't set up thick enough. I thought I followed the recipe to a "T". Most recipes I have seen use sweetened condensed milk, this calls for evaporated milk. I wonder if that was a typo.
