Recipe Details

Bake Time:
10-12 minutes
approx. 6 dozen
Good for parties/potlucks, Travels well


1 cup butter, softened
1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies
1 cup unsweetened flaked or shredded coconut


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Cream butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla together.

  3. Combine flour, baking powder, soda and oats and add to cream mixture. Mix well.

  4. Add rice krispies and coconut.

  5. Drop by round teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.

  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until light brown.

  7. Don't over bake.
