Ginny's Peppermint Popcorn

Ingredients
1 pound white candy coating or white chips
24 cups popped popcorn
3/4 cup finely crushed peppermint candy
Directions
Melt white candy or chips in microwave or in heavy kettle, stirring until smooth.
Place popcorn in large bowl, pour on about 1/2 of the melted candy or chips, stir well, repeat with other 1/2 of candy stirring well.
Sprinkle on 1/4 cup of the crushed peppermint, stir in, repeat twice more.
Pour onto wax paper lined baking sheet.
When hardened, break apart.
Store in airtight container.
