Raisin Pie from Lynnette
From the kitchen of Lynnette in Florida
Ingredients
2 cups water
1 cup raisins
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
juice from 1/2 lemon
1 cup sugar
3 teaspoons flour
3 teaspoons cornstarch
unbaked pie crust
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
To a sauce pot over medium heat, add dry ingredients, raisins and liquids alternately.
Cook until thickened and pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 425 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
