Strawberry Delight
Makes 20 servings • From the kitchen of Rachel
Ingredients
3 cups crushed pretzels
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup sugar, divided
1 package cream cheese
16 ounces cool whip
2 packages strawberry Jell-O
1 cup boiling water
16 ounces frozen strawberries, thawed
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the pretzels, butter, and 1/4 cup sugar together, press into the bottom of a 13x9 inch cake pan.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Mix together Jell-O and boiling water, stir until Jell-O is completely dissolve and stir in strawberries.
Pour over pretzel crust, refrigerate.
Mix cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar and cool whip.
Smooth over Jell-O layer once it has partially set.
Refrigerate until fully set, at least 1 hour.
