Fun to make with kids, Kid friendly

Ingredients

2 large cans sweet yams
1 bag large marshmallows
6 tablespoons brown sugar
3/4 cup butter
5 cups corn flakes

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Drain the yams until a little moisture is left.

  3. Mash yams in a medium bowl with your hands.

  4. Roll them around a marshmallow. [They should be about the size of a lime.]

  5. Crunch up corn flakes in a zip top plastic bag; and roll the balls in the bag.

  6. Set yam balls in an ungreased round or rectangle pan.

  7. Cook for 25-30 minutes.

  8. Remove from oven.

  9. Pour butter over.

  10. Sprinkle with brown sugar.

  11. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.


Do not worry if they are not all in one piece when finished. Enjoy!
