Ingredients

8 ounces butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup cocoa
pinch salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
jar marshmallow cream topping

Frosting:
1/4 cup cocoa
2 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

  2. Grease an 8 inch square pan.

  3. Melt 8 ounces butter, stir in 1/3 cup cocoa. In small bowl, mix eggs and 2 cups sugar.

  4. Combine egg mixture with butter mixture. Add salt, flour and nuts.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.

  6. Immediately spread with marshmallow topping.


Frosting:

  1. Mix together and slowly heat frosting ingredients until completely melted and blended.

  2. Pour over cake and allow to cool before cutting into squares.

This recipe is an old favorite of mine. Very rich! Very delicious!! (Add coconut for an extra treat.)
