Fake Brittle

Ingredients

enough club crackers to line a cookie sheet
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
almonds (sliced)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Lay club crackers on a cookie sheet in single layer.

  3. Melt the margarine, butter and sugar - stirring constantly until boiling.

  4. Pour mixture over crackers.

  5. Sprinkle almonds on top.

  6. Bake for 10 minutes.

  7. Cool and cut into pieces.
